• 2007.2.20: Video encode profile for Apple TV is now available via network installer in MPEG Exporter TNG ver.2.59. It's still in draft version, but you can test HD size H.264/AVC video encoding on your Mac.
• 2006.9.19: MPEG Exporter TNG ver.2.59 (Unversal Binary) is released. This is a free utility to export movies into MPEG-1/-2/-4 and H.264/AVC movie files with ffmpeg. This may be the fastest video encoder for iPod 5G (with video). You can encode video from almost any format including WMV3 CODEC video when you use ffmpeg binary from iSquint.

• 2005.12.3: QT MPEG4 Exporter ver.1.993 is released. This is a utility to export QuickTime movies into MPEG-4 or 3G movie files with QuickTime 6 or later. Now, H.264/AVC high-quality video encoding with QuickTime 7 is available for iPod 5G.

• 2005.4.24: SD Video Helper ver.1.5 is released. This is a utility to copy movie files into SD memory card acording to SD Cideo Standard available with Vodafone mobile phones, Nintendo Play-yan DS player and so on. Video files should be converted with MPEG Exporter TNG or QT MPEG Exporter.

• 2004.1.12: DecroChanger ver.1.82 is released for Macintosh System 7.x thru Mac OS X in both of Classic and CFM Carbon format. DecorChanger may be the first software that can change desktop picture mode (tiling, zooming, etc) immediately on Mac OS X. This new version is compatible Mac OS X 10.3 Panther.

Technical Note

• Vanilla script:
  Vanilla is a term used by scripters for a script that uses only default system additions. Some of my scripts call commands in third party OSAXen, but they are not necessarily required. Most routines in my shared script library present System 7.5 (AppleScript 1.1) compatible (but slow) script code.
• DecorChanger compatibility:
  There are various tools to display picture on the desktop. Latest version of DecorChanger become common utility for Decor, DesktopPicture on MacOS8/9 and Mac OS X. DecorMasterObj shared library provides function of generating data package of picture and displaying parameters, and displaying it with desktop picture tools. DecorChanger needs suitable version of DecorMasterObj shared library for each system enviroment, because it provides object layer architecture. DecorMasterObject ver.2.x (4.x and 'Decor support Plug-in') is designed for Decor and System7, DecorMasterObj ver.3.x is for MacOS8 and Mac OS 9, and DecorMasterObj.dbn. ver.5.x (ver.4.1 and 'Mac OS X Support Plug-in') is compatible with Mac OS X.
• Network Installer:
  Network installer that you can see in software packages published here is based on Data Component Object technology. Data Component Object is a shared library written in AppleScript. Data Component Object let scripts store any data into in binary file with using just standard scripting additions. The bug of System 7.5 can be escaped that system crushes when script object is stored with standard store command, because compiled script object is also saved with Data Component Object. Saved script with Data Component Object can be deliverd via the internet. Network installer will download Data Component Object formatted scripts and install them in hard disk in Data Component Object format. Download routin is also presented with Data Component Object and it is compatible with Netscape, Internet Explorer, iCab and URL Access Scripting.

MPEG Exporter TNG -The Next Generations-

• This is an AppleScript application and requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later, and ffmpeg executable binary (which you can get from ffmpegX or iSquint application package). Original source of ffmpeg is available in source-forge project.
• This script will converts movie files from many formats into MPEG-1/-2/-4 and any format, that is compatible with ffmpeg. The latest version can exports MPEG-4 and H.264/AVC movie with QuickTime 7.
• This is designed for iPod video, and it will add encoded videos into iTunes and syncronize iPod. All that you should do is just drag & drop source files onto MPEG Exporter TNG and choose ffmpeg binary.
• Drag and drop on Finder or Dock is avairable. Multiple files or forlders can be converted with a just single action.
• Internal network installer is used to updates the 'TNG' application. Newer released updates will be noticed automatically.

DecorChanger

• You can save desktop picture and display parameters (zooming, tiling etc.) in a file with double-clicking DecorChanger applet.
• Open saved file to change desktop picture.
• You can also drop GIF, JPEG/JFIF and PICT images to display them on Desktop.

Browser Protocol Switcher 2.32

• This is an AppleScript application and it requires MacOS system 7.5 (or later) and AppleScript.
• This script will switch the internal setting for protocol in some WWW browser software (e.g. Netscape Navigator).
• For example, you can use EudoraPro or any E-mailer as default E-mailer instead of Netscape Mailer from the window of Netscape Navigator with single clic on 'mailto:' links.
• If you want to use EudoraPro 2.x with this software, please use Eudora GULR Handler bundled with InternetConfig.
• Please note that you cannot 'Post Form' from the browser window after you change 'mailto:' protocol.
• You can also launch Fetch or Anarchie instead of Netscape built-in FTP cliant.

Data Component Object 1.6

• This is a shared library of AppleScript providing routines to read/write any data class of AppleScript in binaly files.
• For example, you can save list, record, date object etc.
• Saved file is a kind of binaly file so that it can be stored in DOS/Windows format disks or UNIX Internet servers.
• Put this shared library into 'Extensions' folder in the system folder or the folder of target application (for example, DecorChanger).
• Data Component Object contains copy protect technology and password protect technology.

• This is an AppleScript and it requires MacOS System 7.5 or later.
• Carbon version is available for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X.
• AppleScript Runner will execute AppleScript via AppleTalk network or the Internet.
• For example, you can start/stop file sharing, move/copy/delete files, launch application, shut down or restart remote Macintosh with agent program via AppleTalk network or AppleEvent over TCP/IP (available on Mac OS 9 or later).
• AppleScript Runner will execute AppleScript built in HTML document as a helper application for ascpt: protocol with InternetConfig.
• You can use CGI form interface to send AppleScript to MacOS based web server from any web browser on any OS.
